2012 naturalfitandfrugals year in review

What a year we have had in our house this year so much has happened that I don't even believe it really all happened.

I ran in my first 5k race in January and did it just over 30 minutes, not too shabby, unfortunantely no one was there to take a photo of me :(.

In February my husband took us all to New York for my 32nd Birthday.  It was an absolute dream of mine and one I never thought would happen.

After that we decided WE WERE going to move.  Living in St Louis was not where we wanted to be and even though family were there we just weren't happy or thriving there.  We knew we needed to be somewhere else.

Meanwhile I knew I needed to go home to Australia, I took my then four year old with me and we embarked on the long journey, just me and him.  A little nerve wracking for me to do it all alone but we did great and I survived. It was so precious to be home with my family for a few weeks. This is my mum and dad with us in Newcastle Australia

Whilst I was there my husband got a job in Colorado so he packed up the house and his parents helped him caravan everything to our new home.  Jack and I left St Louis and flew back in to Colorado.

We had such a fun Summer exploring our new home.

My one and only child started kindergarten.

I started this blog.

And that is just a tiny slice.  Thanks for being a part of my life over this past year, your following and support has meant so much to me.  Here is to an even bigger and brighter 2013.  It will be hard to beat last year :)

  1. Wow I couldn't imagine leaving one home to go visit your family in Australia and coming home to an entirely new state! I like to know where I'm coming home to when I come back from visiting my family in OZ...... How long have you lived over here? It's always fun to find other Aussies in the US. I found you from the blog hop. I look forward to reading more and maybe we have stories to share!
